2) Vaping in Singapore
The government of Singapore has made it illegal to buy an e-cig, own an e-cig or vape anywhere in the country. Anyone that is caught breaking this law is faced with a hefty fine. Yet, this law was only put into effect recently — Feb. 1, 2018, under the updated Tobacco Act — so, it seems rather silly that people are still allowed to buy and sell combustible cigarettes throughout Singapore.
3) Vaping in Hong Kong
The strange part about not being allowed to vape in Hong Kong is that aside from being separated by immigration and passport control, China — the country where electronic cigarettes were invented — and Hong Kong remain one country under two systems. China allows vaping and Hong Kong doesn’t so if you feel the need to take a sweet puff of your e-cig while visiting this destination, don’t do it.
